Facial Plastic Surgery

The Look of a Lifetime

Some results don't come from a syringe. When skin, muscle, and time have moved further than a treatment can reach, surgery is the honest answer — and it should be done by someone who does only faces. At Vue Medical Spa in Salt Lake City, every procedure is performed by Dr. Randal Swenson, MD, FACS, who has spent more than forty years on facial plastic and reconstructive surgery. Not a general practice that also does faces.

What Dr. Swenson Performs

Start HereDo You Actually Need Surgery?

Often the answer is no. Vue runs both sides — surgical and non-surgical — which means we have no reason to push you toward either one.

Early lines and volume loss, skin still snaps back
Mild jawline softening, no loose skin yet
Jowls forming, jawline blurring
Loose skin at the neck and jaw, deep folds
Hooded upper lids or under-eye bags
Heavy, tired-looking brow
Nose shape — or trouble breathing through it
Weak or receding chin in profile
Fullness under the chin that won't budge
Flat midface, lost cheek projection
Long distance between lip and nose
Ears that stand out
Why You Can Trust the Answer

Most med spas can only recommend what they own. We can recommend either — so we'll tell you when a treatment will get you there, and we'll tell you when it won't. If filler is the better answer this year, that's what you'll hear. If it's time for surgery, you'll hear that too.

Start With an Honest Opinion

Bring the thing that's been bothering you. Dr. Swenson will tell you what it would actually take to fix it — including if the answer is "not yet." A surgical consultation is $75; it does not apply toward the procedure, and Vue does not bill insurance.
