Soften lines and prevent new ones with Botox and Jeuveau — surgeon-led placement for natural, never-frozen results.

A neurotoxin is one of the most precise tools in aesthetic medicine — and precision is exactly why placement matters. At Vue, every treatment is guided by Dr. Randal Swenson, a board-certified facial plastic surgeon, alongside our RN injector Megan. The result is the same goal every time: a rested, natural face that still moves the way yours should.
Botox® Cosmetic and Jeuveau® are prescription medicines injected into the small muscles of the face. By temporarily relaxing those muscles, they soften the repeated movements — frowning, squinting, raising the brow — that etch lines into the skin over time. Both are botulinum toxin type A formulations, FDA-approved for cosmetic use, and both produce temporary, fully reversible results that fade gradually as the effect wears off.
Botox Cosmetic is FDA-approved to temporarily improve the look of moderate to severe frown lines between the brows (glabellar lines), crow's feet (lateral canthal lines), forehead lines, and platysma bands of the neck and jaw in adults. Jeuveau is FDA-approved to temporarily improve the look of moderate to severe frown lines between the eyebrows (glabellar lines) in adults.
Beyond these approved areas, Dr. Swenson and Megan also offer advanced neurotoxin treatments as part of our practice — including a lip flip, masseter (jaw) slimming, softening a gummy smile, and treating neck bands. These are individualized treatments we provide based on your anatomy and goals; they fall outside the products' specific FDA-approved cosmetic indications and are something we'll discuss with you directly at your consultation.
Both are botulinum toxin type A and work the same way. Botox Cosmetic is the original, longest-studied option and carries the widest range of FDA-approved treatment areas. Jeuveau (prabotulinumtoxinA-xvfs) is a newer, purpose-built aesthetic neurotoxin FDA-approved for frown lines. In practice, most patients see comparable results from either — Jeuveau's clinical data shows about half of people beginning to see improvement in as little as two days. Which we recommend comes down to the area being treated, your history, and your preference. We'll help you choose.
Your appointment takes about 30 minutes, with the injections themselves lasting only a few minutes. There's little to no downtime, so most patients return to their day right after. With Botox, you may start to see results in 24 to 48 hours, with full results at about 30 days. Jeuveau results can start in as little as two days, with most people reaching complete results by day 30. For both, the effect is temporary — typically lasting up to four months — which is why we recommend maintenance visits roughly every 12 weeks to keep your results consistent.
Neurotoxin treatment is priced per unit, and the number of units varies by treatment area and individual anatomy — which is why we quote it at your visit rather than on a menu. Your provider will confirm the plan and give you an exact estimate before anything is placed. Member pricing is available. Plan for about 30 minutes, with maintenance roughly every 12 weeks.
Most patients describe only a quick pinch. The needles are very fine and the injections take just a few minutes. There's little to no downtime, and you can return to your day right away.

Results are temporary. Both Botox and Jeuveau typically last up to four months, after which the effect gradually fades. We recommend maintenance visits about every 12 weeks to keep your results consistent.
Not with us. A natural result comes down to precise, conservative placement — which is exactly where a board-certified facial plastic surgeon's training shows. Our goal is to soften lines while keeping your expressions your own.
Botox Cosmetic and Jeuveau are both FDA-approved prescription treatments with long clinical track records. As with any medical treatment there are risks and possible side effects, which is why every treatment at Vue is provider-led. We'll review your health history and go over what to expect at your consultation.
Both are botulinum toxin type A and deliver comparable results for most patients. Botox offers the widest range of FDA-approved treatment areas; Jeuveau is a newer neurotoxin FDA-approved for frown lines. We'll recommend the best fit based on your treatment area, history, and preference.
