NAD+ injections are not a treatment for any disease. They will not reverse aging, detoxify anything, or repair your brain, and we won't tell you otherwise. If a clinic is making those claims, that is a reason to be skeptical of the clinic.
NAD+ is not an FDA-approved drug for any wellness indication. Injectable NAD+ is a compounded preparation, which means the FDA has not reviewed it for quality, safety, or effectiveness, and prescribing it is off-label. The FDA has also flagged safety concerns with NAD+ injectables specifically, including reports of chills, shaking, vomiting and fatigue, and has warned that some compounders use supplement-grade rather than pharmaceutical-grade material. Your provider will review all of this with you before you decide, and will tell you where our preparation is compounded. Asking that question is reasonable at any clinic.
