Dr. Randal Swenson, MD, FACS

For more than 40 years, Dr. Randal W. Swenson has practiced facial plastic surgery in Utah — the experience that everything at Vue is built on. A graduate of the University of Utah College of Medicine, he completed a General Surgery residency in Michigan and a residency in Otolaryngology/Head and Neck Reconstructive Surgery at the University of Arizona Health Sciences Center, followed by a fellowship in Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF). He is double board-certified in Otolaryngology and Facial Plastic Surgery, and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, and the American Academy of Otolaryngology/Head and Neck Surgery, with expertise in cosmetic and reconstructive surgery of the face, head, and neck. Across his career he has lectured and taught at medical societies, educational conferences, and national meetings, authored textbook chapters and journal articles, and received his specialty's National Honor Award for his contributions to education.
